I need a new windshield for me 07. My local glass guy says that he can't find one (at a decent price) with the Ranger logo. Says if I want one, the price is $205 + a whole lot of shipping charges + what he wants to install it. His quote was $275 installed with one that does not have the cool Ranger logo up top behind the rear view mirror. So this brings up a possible solution. A decal.

For what Fast Signs would take to do the forever un-ending "dots" that go across, and the sun beating down. Heck, the OEM has ink screened on the glass. Of all people, my wife wants to keep the logo. The decals are huge and not really what I was looking for, especially the non-see through black blocking all the vision across the upper windshield.

So after all of this, I am asking the group here to chime in on their feelings. Me, yes I want to keep the logo, but is it worth the extra hundred bucks?

My credo
I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
$100 for 6 letters....don't think so !!!
Go to any craft store and buy a set of vinyl letters for a few bucks...the kind that adhere to the inside of the glass. Save yourself $95 bucks.
No one driving past you notices the Ranger logo, and the only time I really notice it is when I clean the windshield.
Put some real tiny Ranger letters on your wife's glasses, so when she looks at the area, she'll see "Ranger", and she'll be happy.
If you have to have the logo and sunscreen dot matrix, then you stuck buying OEM stuff.

Not to me, that is where my Gropro goes.

If I could ditch the blue stuff across the top of my windshield I would do that too.

I prefer the blue stuff myself as well. I'm with the others on buying some vinyl if you want letters that bad and it will be a hell of a lot cheaper.
