ranger step side not splash

Seen this in the VA parkin lot, I know it's not a Ford, but kinda unique how they used mid-late 50's fenders on the box:

Called a "Shadow Ranger":

The top two are freakin awesome. Never seen an actual step side ranger. I thought of getting a spash bed for mine but now this got me thinkin.

having a stepside box on a small truck would be about like having a radio flyer wagon mounted to the frame.

God, if this isn't THE signature to have!!

Saw the red one today.In town will try to get pictures.

These trucks are NOT shadow rangers.Notice how there is no step behind the fender.And the flares on the shadow are different.

I have a Superduty for hauling stuff.I use my rangers to drive and enjoy.

Awesome pics. Never seen one that nice with-out the step behind the wheel. Still partial to the step on the back, though. Not a fan of the round fenders for sure. Thanks for sharing Jovibuilt!

After a 1700 mile trip and the help of 88stepside.I now have the molds and blueprints and jigs for the shadow beds.And the chevy and toyota beds.And the bumpers.Thanks again Pete for the help and the great weekend.

Yes I hope they get put to use I would love to put one of those beds on a ranger I love the look of them.
