Hi I have a 2009 Ranger, 4 cylinder, Automatic. Sometimes when I'm climbing a hill from a stop the engine will get up to 3K before it shifts. Is this normal?

Thanks, Smitty

That doesn't sound that abnormal to me... it really depends on how hard you're pushing the skinny pedal.
