Hello all,

First off this is going to end up being a long drawn out process of stuff I don't know how to do for my ranger conversion. This initial plan is to drop a 351 W in my 91 Ford Ranger XLT, lift it around 9 inches, put a cowl induction hood on, 3.25" fender flares and repaint (someone else will be doing). I have both fenders off and the hood off right now. I the next thing I am working on is taking the motor out but I have a slight issue I can't figure out. My exhaust is done from the catalytic converter back( It is custom 3" inlet to 3 outlet after market cat to 3" pipe feeding the inlet to my flowmaster muffler 40 series (i think, been to long, and had to cut the inlet off and get the pipe welded to the muffler), can't remember the outlet (dual) size of the flowmaster to 4" diameter tips that are 1 foot long (my megaphones)). The thing I can't figure out is how to get from the catalytic converter inlet unbolted from the exhaust manifold since two bolts are right beside the frame and I can't get any kind of wrench or socket set in onto the bolts to get them off. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jeremy

All I have right now is the starting phase of teardown and don't have them loaded to my computer yet since they are spread across two cameras. I will also have to get pics of the exhaust. If I get a chance tomorrow I will get some pics uploaded.
