I think they're referring to the Global Ranger.

Cause the 2023 US Ranger is the end of the 6th gen Ranger.

They don't think we should have any of that in 2024 either. Not even a 6 foot bed.

Kenny Ross is a dealership in the Pittsburgh area. So, US based and talking about the US Ranger.

I haven’t seen anything on the 2023 getting a manual transmission. I suppose it’s possible since the Bronco has it for the 2.3. The engine wire harness might even be the same. All speculation though.

It might be worth giving them or Ford customer service a call and ask about it.

about as likely as a diesel option, also mentioned in that link.

I think someone posted that link a few months ago and we agreed that dealer was just copy pasting a press release about international spec trucks.

Literally sitting here messing with the build and price on Yota, and looking at used.

Found a nice one with 23k on it in Bama with a 6 speed.

Come on ford....

Yota is proud of those trucks. They only make a hand full of manuals a year and there is a wait list. I'm sure they all sell for 20% over MSRP.

Wife wanted one, call about ordering one and they said "yeah good luck" and laughed.

They should be proud of them. They beat out their competitors.

Crappiest cab design known to man.

I would rather have a Daewoo with a CVT.
I would be willing to deal with a bowtie or GMC on the front grill if it had three pedals.

I'm not sure I want to buy a Ranger from a place that knows that little about their current product.

I think Jimmy stopped selling manuals and single cabs years ago too on their small trucks.

I could test drive one for @PetroleumJunkie412 this afternoon; the dealer 10km from me has a while and a red quad cab on the lot. Both of the ones at the dealership 5km away have deals pending.

Very highly doubtful in the US for the Ranger to ever get a manual transmission again, people don't buy them here because they're too lazy to drive them. I'm very surprised the Bronco was even offered with a manual due to the huge downturn in manual transmission sales in the US...every other country sells manual transmission vehicles and in some cases the only option for the vehicle.

Doubt the US would see a diesel equipped Ranger either, most automakers are not doing that type of vehicle powerplant anymore due to emissions requirements, and the ridiculous upcharge just doesn't make any sense.

Could you test drive a few EVs for him??? He said he was going to, but he hasn’t done it yet.
