Ranger/explorer windshield

Is anyone able to confirm if a 97 Explorer windshield is the same as a 97 Ranger? Seems like there's lots of conflicting info out there, including 2 auto glass shops in my area.

I should add, I've been told by one place they're different part numbers but the same windshield, another place says different part#, different part. To me, they look identical

I'm not sure, but, sometimes they will have different part numbers based on whether or not you get the blue tint at the top. Some applications have two windshields available, with and without the tinted part.

Thanks Shran. I decided to just try and measure them, and it appears the Explorer windshield is about an inch and a half larger measured top to bottom, pretty sure this isn't going to fit lol

They are different, the explorer defroster/wiper cowl, front doors, and roof line/drip rails are completely different than a ranger, which is why the glass and it's rubber moldings are slightly different than ranger.
