Oh- at one time I had “R-140” on the fenders, instead of a F-150 I was calling this a R-series 140, Decided it wasnt that cool & removed it in favor of a ‘70’s “trailer special” emblem. You dont want to know what I paid for this nostalgia.

And yes, it does tow. not as good as the escape but good enough for small loads.

No offense, but if I saw that badge on the fender of a Ranger (or almost anything) out in the wild, I'd be tempted to add the letters "PARK" in there somewhere. Not saying anything about your truck, that badge just makes me feel like its missing a word. Probably because we've got plenty of trailer parks around here and trailer park special was commonly uttered phrase when I was growing up.

Well if it were a “trailer PARK special “ it would have different colored body panels, no tailgate. possibly a broken window with plastic over it. A headlight out and mismatched tires.

Nice piecing together there.

I need to do something similar. I have crap all over the place. So, I’ll have my work cut out for me.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
My 96 is LITERALLY a trailer park special..

Well.. it was anyways. Now it's an escapee undergoing rehab 😋

(sigh) well, the final photo. Its been good, its been reliable & depedable. But for many reasons its time to move on. Oh, I already miss it, not sure what ranger chassis awaits me next. Id prefer a V6 supercab. But we will see, Hopefully the ‘94 will live on a few more years at least. I did keep the dixie horns & the good wheels. Was awesome to have it in the calendar the past few years, if only the frame looked half as good as the outside did. Im sure my ‘09 escape wont go 30 years like this truck did.
