anyone done a saginaw pump swap with a gilmer belt drive setup or just a 5.0 saganaw pump swap for that matter?

I got mine off a 80's ford van with a 351 i believe.

Wow, I like that NAPA-style res a lot better than the classic "canned ham" res, because the former looks like a LOT less grinding of the Ford bracket... perhaps none at all? Plus it's got the horseshoe adapter bracket and LONGER SHAFT already installed.

UNFORTUNATELY... that part # no longer comes up on the NAPAonline.com site... bee-chez!

ETA: D'OH!... found it, new # NSP 816795

Think I'm gonna order one, even though my plastic-fantastic is doing OK, not even than whiny... price on these Saginaws is just going to keep climbing, I'm bettin'...
