Legit German K98s of any variant are probably worth a grand or more right now. The problem is that people have figured out how to fake them, it takes a real sharp eye to identify humped rifles.

Even some of the less desirable Mausers are bringing big bucks these days. Way more than I'd pay but I guess that's for a different discussion... I'm thinking specifically of the Yugo M48's, those were readily available for a couple hundred bucks, in super nice shape and matching... now try finding one.

I scored a Columbian Mauser recently for $150, it's chambered in 30-06 and is a REALLY nice shooter. Also have a Yugo 24/47. My focus has been mostly on Mosin Nagants and other Russian guns but I sure do like Mausers too.

Double-set is very likely a military mauser that was made into a sporter.

The Lee-Enfield has been "sporterized" so not much collector value.

do you know the difference between a 93-96 pattern, and a 98 pattern? Bolt shrouds are different.

Probably $500 worth of parts alone.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

There’s some little old gray-haired lady making up rock salt loads to use in that shotgun right now. Don’t go near her house.
