Ok, so I am parting out my Exploder and a guy wants the Radiator for his '84 2.3 Ranger (his is screwed up).

Would the radiator out of the Explorer be too much cooling for the 2.3?
I know it will bolt in, we just weren't sure about if it will function right.

And yes, I just spent 30 minutes searching for the answer, and couldn't find it.

There is no such thing as too much of a good thing. You have the thermostat to keep the engine warm.
I cant see you actually using the cooling capacity that a large explorer rad would use, but if you have it, use it.
