That thing is fantastic, I hope my Explorer build is capable of a fraction of that... not quite as go fast as yours but similar spirit with WAY less airtime :)

Some specs on the new front end. It’s the Mitchmade inc. beam kit with center mount radius arms using his billet steel knuckles and billet aluminum 2.5” hubs. All new swingers utilizing threaded straight tie rods. Brakes are 14” Coleman rotors with 6 piston Wilwood calipers. Suspension pushed forward a couple inches and now has a 86” front track width. New shocks are 3.5” x 16” King 5 tube bypasses. Pulls about 20” of front travel bumped and trapped. Drives as good as it looks, don’t have to slow down for much.

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

Alec,

Been awhile since I've seen your ranger on action. Looks as you have done some more recent beefy upgrades..including the center mount radius arms. Don't recall exactly the difference with the center mounts, could you explain that?

Really love those pictures. Maybe someday I can go for a ride as I would love to, since I'm only a few hours away from you.
This beam set has several advantages over the previous one. The beams themselves are longer to help with stability and have less camber change with more travel, they also have a lot of caster and better kpi to help keep the tires straight in the rough stuff. The radius arms being centered allows for more tire clearance as well as minimizes caster change throughout the suspension cycle, making it feel more stable and predictable. The billet knuckles and hubs are worlds stronger as well as have a much tighter scrub radius to help take load off of the steering. The steering also now has straight tie rods which are stronger and make adjustments easier. All this combined with way bigger shocks and better bump stop placement makes this thing work amazing. Not much this truck has to slow down for now.

Pretty sure the transmission didn't have much to transmit a while ago.
