Took the Transmission in to swap the output shaft to match the Atlas. Trans ended up being toast according them which was a fun surprise. So it got a full rebuild with some updated parts. Got it all mated up and in. Gotta build x members and drivelines next.

Independent high low per axle and low range before the transfer case? Wow.

My credo
Lord God is my guardian
You are really putting this ranger up to par to how it's becoming a great truck.

Would love to see this one and your 97 in person one day if my health permits it.

Pulled an all nighter with Max from Built Industries, got both x members done and the hard part of the exhaust. The plan is to build this kid plate/belly pan below the T case. Ignore the mismatched rock lights lol.

That looks great! But now I'm also less worried about the transmission and radius arm crossmember I made for my '90...

yeah, they will hold the weight of the drivetrain fine, but probably won’t take a hit very well. That’s why I wanna have a belly pan under all of it.

In my case I think I'm over thinking the load on the radius arms under heavy suspension loads and impacts... My junk doesn't do rocks, it's more like your other ranger but with front drive, and WAY less air time :). Both your builds are inspiring, getting anxious to get my V8 Explorer TTB setup started/done so I can play with it in the dunes...
