This is literally my '91 Explorer , but all the part numbers are identical .
Driver side housing is melted ( long story ) and needs replacement . I have the new housing assembly . The assembly itself seems obvious intuitive .
BUT , my inquiry is about the "chrome" trim that retains the headlight, parking light, and turn signal . I removed the obvious retaining screws on the top , but it's not coming loose . Are there additional screws on the bottom or side I'm overlooking ? Or just tug harder .
I have time constraints to clear an Inspection Ticket ( aka Vehicle Repair Order ) , so I've done a very Micky Mouse temporary fix that should hold about long enough to drive into town and get signed off . But it's my primary ride , I have the parts , and it's a pain to have to avoid the neighboring county after dark .
