Alright, I figured it was time to finally make a build thread for my green '01 Ranger, nicknamed "Kermit." Right now, the quest is to make this 3300 pound truck outrun an '05 Mustang GT in the quarter mile.
Baseline:
Kermit: 16.2 1/4 Mile
Mustang: 14.2 1/4
And then they were both tuned and had an air intake installed
Kermit: 15.5 @ 87
Mustang: 13.6 @ 102
Excessive wheel hop and peg legging made me break down and get a limited slip differential for ol' Kermit
Add some pretty stripes and scoops:
And then I ordered the turbo. I'm still waiting on all of the parts, but I should be able to break into the low 14's or high 13's at around 6 psi in my 4.0l
I'll keep y'all posted on all of the turbo fabrications and include tons of pictures for those . Hopefully all of those will be the same size and from the same camera
