Im thinking about building my self a $!ut.
I want to start with an 84-86 b2 frame and either swap the body for a gen1 singlecab
Or a 98-04 single cab. Then some bullet proof axels and a stage 1 cummins 4bt. So my mane question is what year body single cab would yall do....

first gen gets my vote. plenty of the single cab trucks around with bad motors that can get bought for next to nothing.
But I am a sucker for first gens anyway...lol

Me too. Completely in love with the gen1s but my dad has the 98 which i drive and work on and it has a special place as well.... I may put this off untill im a little more finacially stable...

I have a standard cab, I keep it because it was my first truck. The legroom from an extended cab would be really nice...

If I had the option of a 4BT, I would love to drop it in my '97. It was on a list of possible mods once I bought the truck. Then again, I'd drop a 4BT into just about anything...
