Thanks guys.

Ditching the spare tire. Im trying to make room to mount my air tank and compressor permanently so i *don't* have to have a tool box just for onboard air.......

Jeep heavy duty upgrade manual hubs ordered and on the way. Will post pics of install within the next 2 weeks or less.

Looking for a manual transfercase....absolutely hate the electronic crap. Love the auto tranny tho, but have a feeling its going to die soon (has 197K miles on it so it can't be long).

Still dreaming:

33x10.5 r15 BFG KM2s
4.56's gears
8" SJ coils
6" SJ Drop brackets
6" SJ leaf springs
Safety Back Rack. (dont have time to make one, may or may not buy one tho).
4x Bilstein 5100's (with f250 shock towers, all four should be the same length, i think?)

Thanks. As soon as funds permit I'm gonna pull the trigger and get 33"s and gears and watch my MPG plummet. But it will look alot better.

lol the slash is for everything my real truck won't *ever* be able to do aka haul butt over whoops and hit jumps at 45mph

Great build! Nice to see a fellow FAZDA owner do something with their black b-series. Sharp. :icon_thumby:

looks sick. 33s dont actually affect ur truck as bad as everyone says. at least thats the case in my experiance. and if you havnt decided on the spare tire yet then id say ditch it if ur tires are bigger then it. u couldnt use it anymore especially when u get the 33s

That really depends on the engine you have. A 2.3 or 3L coming from 31's to 33's, it'd be noticeable. A 4L not so much. But for the sake of off-road performance, gears should be matched to the tires.

I may do tires and regear this summer if my work stays steady. But for the short term future I want to cut up my coil buckets and add in f250 shock towers and bilstein 5100's. As well as Skyjacker 6" lift coils. Im hoping to pull somewhere in the realm of 10-12" of reliable, usable travel.

Ordered Skyjacker extended brakelines.

What do you guys do to extend the front bumpstops or what bumpstops do you buy that are longer???

F250 shock towers, 6" skyjacker springs and stock front bump stops, never had a problem.

Then maybe I won't bother with bumpstops....Those pro comp air bumpstops on trsfab are pretty cool though :icon_thumby:

Picked up a set of 4" Skyjacker leaf springs to replace my AAL, 2" and stock leaves. Installed past weekend, and they ride fairly nice, though not shockingly better (which was what I was hoping for). Sits about 1" taller than before, though some weight in the bed fixed that real quick....Shocks are on the short side, so I'll be ordering some longer Bilstein 5100's hopefully within a month.

And added a 7-pin trailer hook up, with a trailer brake control coming shortly too.

Next up is James Duff coil buckets, EB coils, dual Bilstein 5100 shocks up front and possibly either a StoneCrusher or Superlift SuperRunner steering setup (for the softer EB coils). Going to spend my money here as opposed to new tires, as theoretically my mileage shouldn't suffer too bad with suspension mods, I need to keep the gas bill down for when school starts back up and larger tires wouldn't help me there.

It doesn't look too bad with the 31's.

Here are some poser flex shots to see how the new 4" SJ leaves work that I installed over the weekend:
