Hey, I am new here, but I am trying to put a 1994 f150 5.0 2x4 into a 1985 ranger 2x4. I bought the 1997 explorer headers, and the advance adapters conversion motor mounts.
I went to drop the engine in, and the power steering pump is on the steering box, and I cant move the engine forward, as you can see in the pictures, because the sump will hit the I beam. This is the stock sump, but the forum said rear sumps would work. Not to mention the motor mount adapters only line up with one hole per side, so I would need to drill 2 holes, rather than the 1 they say. Am I missing something, because this is not going in how the forums said. Any help is greatly appreciated.
