Driving home from work and the AC starts to get warm, turn it off as it has happened a few times lately( am thinking the pump may have been on it's way out for a few days). It is a straight run for about 5 more miles so I don't have to turn except to change lanes. Somewhere in the next 5 miles the power steering pump seizes and with 1 block to go the temp begins to climb. Made it into the shop thinking (hoping) the belt broke, open the hood and find power steering fluid all over the engine and the radiator overflow is boiling. Looked at the pulley on the pump and it is half gone, plastic go figure. I sure hope I did not hurt the motor.
