moth balls in gas.. I ask what the reaction
Any moths in tank will die!:shok::icon_rofl:

I think what twizzler09 was getting at is your question isn't formulated very well. What reaction are you talking about; moth balls plus gasoline equals power? I don't know the answer to that, I think it's an urban myth, but who knows for sure. If you do, speak up.

Really old mith about it, sure wouldn't try in any car/truck today. Just get a higher grade of gas if that's what you're looking for.

You'd be correct, I didnt feel like trying to decipher the question.

I've never even heard of that myth before, but I dont imagine it'd work. Dont see how it could really....

Don't vote Democrat.
Aside from killing moths in your gas tank, it'll kill your fuel system by gunking it up with the crap the moth testicles are made of.

We are talking about those moth balls, right?

Moth Balls can be used to increase the octane rating of the gasoline your are using. The higher octane not only increases power, but will also increase gas mileage. The ratio is 5 moth balls for every 1 gallon of gasoline. Place moth balls in gas tank before fueling the car. Also add 1ounce of WD40 per gallon of gasoline. This will help remove water from the gasoline and make it ignite better.and

If u wanna remove water, use ethanol, or any alcohol for that matter. Puttin mothballs in a gas tank sounds like a good way to mess something up. Butll tell u what. I have an octane tester at work and I'll see what it says b4 and after.
