Hi everyone, I’m new to the Ranger world. I’m not a mechanic but I’m no dummy either. I’m pretty handy around the garage and not afraid of a challenge. Here’s my question. I recently bought 2 Rangers. The first one is a 1996 XLT 4x4 long bed, good frame good bed, decent cab. 265k on the power train. The 2nd is a 2003 bad frame short bed, good cab and interior 140k on power train. My question is this. Can I take the from the cab forward off the 2003 and put it on the 96 frame so I end up with the 96 long bed with the cab, motor, hood, fenders and front bumpers from the 2003. Thanks for any help. I’m looking forward to being a part of this community for help with this project.
