My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Unless you are trailing your rig... math, logic and reality are obviously not your strong points.

...well then it would be a trail rig then.. Not a pavement princess.

And using my logic, realistically.. Nothing to do with what I said had anything to do with math.

But by all means, keep insulting people... Poorly... over light hearted jokes

It's not an insult.... if it's true, which it is.

2019-2020 Forum.... they're all pavement rigs with very few exceptions.

Easy... not turning this into a slug feast.

Go to your corners and take a deep breath.

No worries. It's hard to tell what's a joke... when you can't read someone's face.

They seem to be leaking little tid bits daily... I hope it continues.
The Bronco and the Ranger are supposedly going to have a seven-speed, manual transmission as an option.

It's been confirmed for the Bronco... I think things are still on the fence for the Next Gen Ranger.

Most 4x4's never go offroad. People spend $60k-$80k on 4x4's that never see the offroad. Then there's those that can't see taking a brand new vehicle offroad when they're still making $500-$700+ payments on it, so they buy used ones.

Pretty sure you couldn't spend 60-80k on a factory built Ranger... well unless you bought 2 of them.....

I didn't say most Rangers, I said most 4x4's.

I was referring to people that spend $70-$80k on Ford Raptors and Jeeps (and other vehicles).

Yes, I've seen new $80k jeeps on showroom floors.

My point was that most people that buy a 4x4 never take it offroad. Even those that spend a lot of money for ones that are intended to be more offroad capable than their stock 4x4 versions.

Some just build them to look cool or stand apart from all the other vehicles. I get not wanting the exact same vehicle everyone else has.

Some build them dreaming of the great adventure they'll have some day, but then never commit the time to actually doing it.

Some may see a few weekend adventures.

A select few see frequent trail duty.

Personally, I don't care. I appreciate craftsmanship whether the vehicle goes offroad or not.

The joke is that guys buy these big bad rigs and never take them offroad cause theyre just compensating for a little pecker right? Everyone's familiar with that.

Well, I got curious as to how much it would cost to ACTUALLY get a bigger wiener... Apparently the surgery averages like 8 grand. A tenth of what alot of these rigs cost lol.

So I spent 16 grand on my wiener, so I'd only have to spend 6 on my little truck!

Check and mate you mall crawler jerks

Let's file this under it's all good. I agree... seeing what folks envision and build is pretty awesome.

Cause & Effect:
Cause = 4x4's cost more and make more money for everybody except the buyer, SO lets stock the dealers with 4x4's and sell the sh!t out of them.
Effect = Now people have 4x4's and don't go off road, because the dealer only stocks 4x4's.

I've heard/read on here several people say their dealership barely stocks 2wd trucks of any kind. because the 4wd trucks carry a premium and salespeople make 4wd trucks seem superior to 2wd. So people buy 4wd trucks. Then the same salesperson will tell you how they "can't" hardly sale a 2wd truck. It's not even science, it's just a sales tactic. and then they go and make the 2wd trucks with 4wd "stance", so they can sale 2wd trucks. ( I'm lookin' @ u FX2)
The new 3 stages of "Ford Performance" stuff is a prime example. They're selling more 4wd variants of the same truck, and the stickers seem to be what you get the most of. ( oh, AND blue or red hooks)

Per the Jeeps, yes, I, indeed, have seen Jeep Gladiators with price tags tantamount to Camaro ZL1 or Corvette Grand Sport money, which is simply ridiculous. If one were honest, the bed on the Gladiator is essentially useless and compromises many of the Jeep's inherent, off-road features. The two-door, Jeep Wrangler is undoubtedly the must useful insofar as maneuvering off-road, and inasmuch as price, the two-door, Jeep Wrangler Willy's Sport with the Pentastar V6, manual transmission (6-speed), manual-transfer case, and manual-window cranks can be purchased for $29k approximately -- it is a clean, simple tabula rasa to design the Jeep however one desires.
