Somebody. Anybody.
Is there a way to replace the pedal bracket without pulling the brake booster, or stripping the whole dash?
I got the switches off the pedals, got all the bolts out including the unreachable two at the top, and the fucking bracket won't clear the brake booster pushrod unless I move it 5-6" into the engine bay. IOW, unless I dismount or disconnect the master and the ABS block.
pulling the little panel on the left end of the dash buys me exactly nothing for access. I haven't dropped the foot brake but I can't see that helping much either.
The clutch pedal and pivot rod are declining to slide out of the bracket, and I've been here for a day and a half already.
Help?
