I am replacing the PCV valve on my new (to me) Ranger. The old PCV valve is plastic (I've never seen one like this in any Ranger posts) with a port on the top, so just a gentle bend in the hose. The new one (the part I see on posts/videos) has a 90 degree nipple. So the old hose/tube won't work. What part should I buy and how do i get this to work? Pictures attached.
THANKS!

Seperately, I see that some pcv valves come with grommets. Does it look like i inserted mine correctly in picture 1?

It looks to be in good. Is it tight enough to be airtight? That grommet gets old and hard, then it doesn't seal.

MOTORCRAFT EV118 has a removable top. Maybe the part you have is the same way?

You have to warm up the plastic F piece on the top of the new one and remove it. They did that to make it fit a variety of vehicles. Which is also why there are two port size options on the plastic bit.
