PCI Express 2.0 compatibility with 16X

Sorry to pull this thread out of retirement, but I could use a little more help with this thing.

What all can be adjusted/tweaked to change the frame rate?

You could overclock the videocard 9500s overclock pretty good

I am in process of changing plans. I'll be keeping the 9800GT, but the system will be changing around it.

While this computer works alright for most of the video editing I do (and nearly everything else), the longer movies with multiple effects is a bit hard on the system.
