Pats delete in ecm Should I do anything else?

I found a place to get my pats deleted out of my 02. Should I do anything else while they are in there ? Any suggestions?
02 Ranger 5.0 01 mountaineer 5.0 swap

If you are keeping it an automatic then PATS delete is all that's needed
If you were switching to manual trans then auto software could be deleted

Why bother deleting it?

So I don’t have to deal with the hassle of changing wiring in the dash and separate keys or changing out door locks. One less thing I have to deal with.

Does 02 to 01 mix PATS generations? If not, you don't have to change keys/locks/wiring. Just swap the donor module along with the computer (just takes a moment to do the module) and update the keys in the computer with Forscan. I'm still running PATS on my '99 with the original Ranger key.
