Passenger headlight dim compared to drivers side.

I know it's probably a bad ground but which wire is ground going to the headlight? 01 ranger

Check your headlight wires for continuity to ground. The one that reads closed is the ground.

Black wire is the Ground on 2001 headlights
Left and right do not share a ground

Both should be grounded on the Rad support however, and there should be a ground wire from battery to Rad support.

So passenger side is dimmer than drivers side in low and high beam, which it would be if it was a ground issue
And passenger side is not just pointed lower, i.e. out of adjustment?

They are adjusted correctly, and yes it's dim on both low and high beam.
