Hey guys, just ripped the heads off this 1998 3.0, first fuel injected engine i've ever torn apart. Not too bad, but not fun at all either. Anywho, have a few questions. Firstly, there is a long thin metal bracket that appears to come from the exhaust up and over to the plenum from the passenger side. It's fallen off and I can't remember what it did. I'd say its 12-18 inches long, an inch wide at the most. I'm tempted to say it may have helped hold the coil, but don't remember. Secondly, with the heads and intake off, on top but at the rear of the block, there is a large white piece/sensor of some sort(just smaller than a coke can), then to the left of it(looking at it from the engine bay), a small threaded in sensor.
Just wondering what they are before I put it back together, I may go ahead and replace them.
Thanks,
alex
