how do you think my stock rim would look if i sandblasted it and powdercoated it black???


thats the only pic i have of the rim at the moment

I personally don't like the black rim look. Makes the wheels look smaller, imo. Stock rims look good to me. I have those same ones and while, no, they're not as sexy as the aluminum ones, they are apparently quite strong.

should look good with an all black truck. if you paint them your going to have to take off those center caps and black out the lugs and stuff, but it would be cool

well i was planning on when i get new meats to sandblast and powder coat it since they have to cure in the oven, so the center caps wouldnt be an issue, thanks for the opinions, i still have about 10 thousand miles on the tires so it might be a little while.

spray paint them for now. see how you like it, before you spend all that time doing a good job.

leave the outer lip area natural and powdercoat the inside.

hey i just struck an idea idk if youve done it already, but try posting that in the photoshop section and see if somebody can make a pic of what your truck would look like with those rims black.

Hey, Ive been seeing a like 98ish model setting at the college and it has some of them aluminum stock turbine looking wheels and they painted theirs with some type like a dark gray and they look pretty good. The truck is blue. If I see it tomorrow ill take a picture for ya.

Black out the windows....black out the rims..........get rid of the chrome and you will have a good lookinig truck.

if you want an aftermarket look, then just save up a bit and buy new wheels and tires (if needed). OEM wheels (on any car) should never be painted IMO.
