I finally got my truck running, i replaced the head and the fuel pump at the same time. Getting 2 codes

p0325
Knock Sensor Bank 1

p0171
Bank 1 system too lean

The truck sat with a half tank of gas for a full year with no stabilizer, could it be that this gas has degraded so bad and is causing this issue?

Also, I can't find any diagrams of where the knock sensor is located on this thing.

Aside from that it's running pretty smooth to be honest.

The knock sensor on a 2003 2.3L is on the drivers side of the block just above the PCV valve. It's round and has a bolt through the center of it. It's pretty easy to see with the drivers side wheel well removed. But if you feel around down there I'm sure you'll find it.

The bad gas could be the cause of the codes. Or could be a flaky primary o2 sensor. Having some software to read the o2 output would be nice. Torque Pro for Android devices will do this. Also, Forscan.org has free software that will do this. All you need to buy is a usb-to-OBD2 cable if you have a pc/laptop or obd2-to-bluetooth adapter if using Torque Pro or Forscan's phone software.

It could also be a vacuum leak somewhere maybe but I would think that it would have to be a pretty large leak to set a code. Plus that large of a leak would not make it run well.
