I guess it’s been to long and she needed attention.

Got the above symptoms on B3000 (2000) and hoping for a quick rear abs sensor change out fix.

If not the next likely area will be the connector under driver side inside and out.

As luck would have it I have a cold right now. Will wait till daylight while I rest up.

Am I reading it right and any quick tips on the connector inspection?

Thanks

Just my luck abs sensor did not correct the problem.

Will wait for the weekend to tackle the connector.

Just in case someone is going through this...

So today I finally had the opportunity to remove the under cab connector.

One part is in the cab and the hold down bolt is from the bottom.

Removing drivers seat will make it easier but take longer.

Can be done without removal but a second person will need to hold down when reassembling.

I had a bunch of bleach/detergent in the connector from a leaking bottle(s).

With my sinus stopped up I could not smell anything. Went inside and asked the wife what it smelled like.

Got the answer... Used contact cleaner and hosed both ends to get liquid out.

As usual my desire to lay back down caused me to not get all the liquid out.

Still had the same symptoms so disassembled again and more liquid came out.

Am leaving both ends disconnected overnight to let gravity help me out.

Will drench connectors with alcohol and blow out with compressed air and then reapply electrical contact cleaner and blow out again. Even thinking about using a hair dryer but we’ll see.

Update

Used alcohol to try and displace any liquid and compressed air .

Reassembled and did not get abs light but still no speedometer.

Speedometer will occasionally bounce. Some progress but still not fixed..

Leaving two halves unconnected to air out more.

Getting frustrated. Self therapy is good.

Seems that the waiting period allowed the connector to dry out.

Seems to be working again.
