P000C popped up today on my son's Vyncs. I also have a battery warning that started today. Previous owner installed the wrong battery and it needed to be swapped anyway.

This code seems to be related to the cam sensor but doesn't seem to be the normal code I see others reporting. Could the bad battery contribute to this?

I went ahead and ordered a Motorcraft synchro assembly and picked up the correct replacement battery.

What were the exact coordinates when the problem occurred?

What do you mean by "wrong battery"?

Wrong is a synonym for incorrect. I can use it in a sentence. The previous hill jack bought the incorrect battery for the make and model.

Cars are not that picky about batteries. If the posts are in the right spot, it fits the tray and hold down, and meets the minimum CCA rating it's not the wrong battery. It might not be the specified battery, but it would still be correct.

The battery is a few years old and the voltage drop is triggering a warning on the reader. The battery and the P000C code happened to show up at the same time.

I don't think the incorrect battery is causing the condition but does low voltage cause the system to throw codes? The battery is too small for the tray. The hold down in the front was more of a jam and not a clamp and side to side it's too small. The posts are mountes on the front and not the top like I see on most Rangers.

I went ahead and replaced it and the camshaft synchronizer shows up today. I installed the battery and cleared the code. He has been driving around for 2 days and it hasn't resurfaced. I thought it was odd that I had a code and a battery warning at the same time.

I'm not so sure about that.
the other coordinates are in the middle of the Detroit River, real close to some large steel mills with huge blast furnaces.

Hoffa was from NJ and he was killed by the NJ/NY mafia. Do some history on the location I provided. It was a mob owned landfill outside of newark at the time of his disappearance. It was quickly covered and turned into a golf course afterwards. No one can get a court order to mess with, dig or search the golf course because pretty much every judge golfs there. Everyone knows where he is, we just accepted it as a part of NJ. Like that weird smell.

since he was last seen near Detroit the local folklore centers around that area.
about once every 10 or so years a rumor pops up to dig in a new location.
each time when nothing is found a muffled voice is heard saying " just a reminder, when we make someone disappear....."
for one of the episodes they brought in special cadaver sniffing dogs from Kentucky, nope, nothing here.

Lead follow or get out of my way
I remember them digging around Milford Michigan for Hoffa not that long ago... well maybe 10-12 years ago.

They also dug up in Roscommon Michigan when I was a kid. We belonged to a club that had links to the Mafia back in the day. They dug on leads that Hoffa was buried there... they found nothing.

There were also rumors that he was mixed into the concrete that built the Zilwaukee Bridge near Saginaw Michigan.

the support casing around one of the piers is kinda big.
workers reportedly had a "sinking feeling" when it was constructed.
there used to be either a factory or power plant where that big pier is.
