My credo
"The idea of wilderness needs no defense, it only needs defenders."
Hi all. Long time reader, first time poster. Wanted to introduce my project:

Backstory of my 1993 XLT extended cab: My dad bought this truck in 2002 for $500. I got it in 2012 as my first car and I have put about 160k miles on it. In 2020-21 I built a .030" over 5.7" long rod turbo motor and dropped it in, running about 13lbs of boost on the PimpXS engine management system.

Other mods include 31" KO2's on 15x8" American Racing blades, splash lumbar seats, customer ladder rack and tire swing out, 8.8 LS rear end with disc brakes, Escape roof rack, '04+ mirrors, along with a ton of smaller off-road oriented items.

I recently had a 2.3 M5od set up for 4wd at my local transmission shop and I have a bw1350 manual case and bw1354 electric case. I am also currently building a Cherokee Dana 30 front end with a long arm kit to drop in up front.

My current goal is a mild 4x4 build for running fire roads And Backcountry camping. It already gets around fine without it, but I have been wanting to SAS this truck since I got it! I'll post more updates on the SAS as they come, I'm still missing a few parts: coil springs, shocks, speedo cable, rear driveshaft, and 4x4 sensor.

Thanks for looking!

Cool, look forward to reading your progress as you build. What you did on the engine sounds pretty similar to what I want to do on my 85 Ranger if I ever get started on it. It'll be a lowered 2wd though.
