Only one NHL team from Canada

Going into the second round, and with Montreal up against Philly I'd say they've got a rough road to make it to the semi-finals...

Any thoughts on how they will do...or predictions about the Stanley Cup finals?

I "see" Detroit and Montreal...and that would be a fantasitic series...

Just a bit of history...prior to 2000, every year that ended in an 8 the Stanley Cup was won by Montreal...all the way back to the beginning...after 2000 though I guess they've had a change...

watching part of the first game i thought montreal was walking over them untill filly scored then they started running around i think montreal should win this in 5-6 games

I didn't realize they were playing last night until I saw the scoreboard while checking the schedule...they started quicker than I'd thought.

I hope it doesn't go 7 games for them...that tends to take the steam out of most teams for the semi-finals...

I thought Calgary got eliminated???

Last night was a good game...from what I saw of it...looked like Montreal would get close but Philly was really knocking them around...that's what I said before...Philly is a tough team and they've almost created another "broad street bully" team...like back in the 70's and 80's...if it weren't for Bobby Clark (from the old days) and a few others they'd have no talent...just brawn
