I just got my 87 Bronco II and need a little help.

I was driving on the freeway today and the truck bogged for a quick second. Then proceeds to drive as usual.. I noticed the oil gauge is reading low, I’m kinda stuck driving it roughly 10 miles the rest of the way home.

I check the oil and it says that it’s full, however the gauge still reads low..

Any thoughts?

Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Welcome to the site.

You need to check the oil pressure. You can have the truck full of oil but if the oil pump is weak and dying your oil pressure will be low or nothing at all.

edit: what engine do you have?
