Is the only oil pan that will work on a two wheel drive ranger v8a dual hump like from a mustang?

Explorer?
98+ I think Explorer would be the way to go. Not sure about the 2wd element of it though. (they made 2wd 5.0 Explorers but I don't know if they were coil sprung like a 2wd Ranger or torsion bar like a 2wd Ranger Edge/Trailhead or if that even is an issue)

83-97 dual sump is the ticket.

I have both pans 98 sploder and 89 gran marquis (dual sump). Wouldn't either work on a 2wd from 84 to 95 rangers but the 96 and up would require the sploder pan

I used a 92 Thunderbird dual sump pan on my 87 Ranger.

98+ is different.

TTB trucks have the huge crossmember the dual sump pan straddles.

Ok good thing I didn't sell the older pan then I was under the impression that 98 pan would work because it was a rear sump pan and it would sit back behind the crossmember
