Hi all!

Looking for the following odds and ends - maybe not the rarest parts but impossible around where I’m at.

- V6 emblem for passenger fender

- Spare hold down nut/bolt/etc for bed mounted spare. My truck has the bracket already since it’s a dual tank truck from the factory

- ‘85 Owners Manual - cuz why not?

- Wiper switch without intermittent feature - that still has clear images of the functions printed on it. Mine have all worn off.

Please let me know if you have any or all of it. Thanks!

Emblem part number is

Wiper switch part number is: e3dz-17a553-c

For the carrier, there’s quite a bit of hardware. The 1424 is e0tz-1424-a. The 1462 is E3TZ-1462-A.

If you have a 6’ bed, a kit with everything is E3TZ-1440-B (there’s one on eBay). For s 7’ bed, it’s an E3TZ-1440-A.

Check eBay and rearcounter.com for these parts.

Thank you so much for the info! Just scored a V6 emblem today actually thanks to eBay!

I have the 7 foot bed and the vertical “mount” is there - just need the retainer equipment. Might be worth buying that kit on eBay just to have it all.

I think that kit is incomplete—but there are several available on rearcounter.com.

Never have heard of or used that site before - but sounds like you gotta know your part numbers 😬

it definitely doesn't sound like a site for finding truck parts.....

i thought it was some kind of site where people just took pics of chicks butts, by the name

It’s a locator service, partsvoice.com is another one. You can always call up an obsolete parts dealer like Green Sales Company and they’ll look up part numbers for you and tell you what dealers have them.

Should you decide that an all-original spare tire holder assy is too much trouble, I made my thru-bolt from a piece of 1/2 -13 all thread, lock nut on the back side of the bracket, lug nut on the front, short cable & padlock (see photo).

If you end up disassembling the selector valve for your dual gas tanks PLEASE take photos. Mine still works but some day it's gonna need attention. FYI: there was some discussion about dual tank Rangers in the Rare Rangers topic awhile back. AllanD is very knowledgeable on the subject.
