Hello, I have a 94 Ranger 4X4 with the 4.0 and M5OD trans. I have worked for ford for 7 years. I have done a few conversions in trucks cars, but I have not done a Ranger. I was wondering if there are any factors involved besides just sorting out the wiring and such to convert my truck to OBDII. This way I can have more choices when it comes to performance and diagnostics. If any of you have researched or done, this let me know what you found. Thanks

The stuff that you have diagnostic input from is stuff that really isn't performance related.

as for "performance" stick with EEC4, atleast your 1994 has an active data link
('93-up on 4.0's).

You don't need cat monitors and setting up to have the evap monitors work?
If you reaally want that you are nuts.
