One of my upstream O2 sensors has a broken wire. I have another sensor on the shelf that is identical to my bad one, same size, shape, wire color, plug, etc. I believe it is a Denso and the P/N is 0 258 005 718. Question is can I use it? Catalog search shows that it a fit for unspecified Ford 3.0. Any thoughts?

Should be a 4 wire, I'd install it if it looks the same. Gotta run better than a bad one.

Lemme run out to the garage. I have the boxes with the old ones out of my 2000.
Here's all its numbers out of 2000 3.0 flexfuel 3.0

Ford F88F-9F472
Bosch 08621C2
0258 005 779780 (12V)

Maybe Rockauto or Napa lists yours. I'll look.

No luck. Worst case is it's a downstream sensor and runs worse...

As long as its a 4 wire it should be fine.
