Ive got this line running along the frame. It goes up to this part in the pic belowe the master cylinder. I dont know what it is. I believe the line runing along the frame to the air canister behind the gas tank, but i dont know. Its a 98 and had a 3.0. I just dropped the 4.0 in and am reconnecting everything. so if anyone know where the rubber hose i put on thop of this is sapposed to go, that would be helpeful too.

That big black plastic (crowned) part is your EGR vacuum control solenoid. It takes 2 small vacuum hoses: one is your (INPUT) vacuum source, and the other provides (OUTPUT) vacuum to the EGR valve. But that loose hose looks way too big for it.
