So this ****er snowballed...
Cam lost it's hardness, so it's getting a new cam, bearings, rings, honed, decked and the crank polished (had some minor scoring). Bearings looked good for the most part, #8 rod was just getting into the copper, but that's it.
Bores look great, can still see the crosshatching and no ridge to speak of.
So it's at the machine shop, should get it back by next Friday for reassembly.
Today I removed the condenser. Also forgot to add the other day I removed all the Evap stuff too. Also pulled the front CV axles and disassembled them and reinstalled the stubs.
Thinking I may work on tacking up the first section of downpipe off the turbo with the wastegate recirculation pipe, then TIG it at work.
