Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
The easiest way to do overhead console switches for power windows would be to use relays to drive the window motors, and have your console switches activate the relays.

This way, the wiring run to the console could use less wires, smaller wire size, and more options for the switches since they're not carrying the large motor loads.

Thank you, I think the power window kit includes relays, but I will have to double check.

I'm begining to lean towards making the T console I mentioned in my first post. Besides power windows there are other things I want to eventually add to my truck, and a custom console will give me plenty of freedom for the controls and placement, and a convenient hiding place for any wires.
