Thanks to all who answered my rod bearing questions, so I figured I would throw out another problem ive been having. Not really a problem, just an annoyance. i bought an 83 s10 blazer a couple years ago, and the guy before me, whom ive known for a long time, took the 2.8 out and jammed in a 4.3. Fine, more power, whatever. It runs and drives great, No problems, but I cant get the stupid heat to work. Now Im not dumb, I know its July, but im trying to sell it and dont want someone to discover this in the middle of january. I forget about it because cold doesnt bother me. I put in 2 heater cores, checked the blend door, all are good. One hose gets hot, the other luke warm. Whats going on? :dunno:

It sounds like the coolant is not circulating through the core properly. If you can find another 4.3 to look at you would be able to compare the run of the hoses, There is a thermostat in it?
