no drain plug??

so i go to change the fluid in my t-case and whadda ya know-- no drain plug?:stop:--guess i'll have to vac it out:bad:

Yup, BW1354 plugs are hidden behind the balancer. Four bolts gets that POS off.

May want to check under the round balancer on the lower left side. That is where mine was on my 2001 ranger.
do you need a puller to get balancer off----or just 4 bolts and thats it,

It's just four bolts.

It's not meant to be difficult. This is maintenance.

It's not meant to be difficult. This is maintenance.
I never did truly understand what the point of that balancer was. It didn't weight that much.

It doesn't seem to do THAT much, but it's a harmonic balancer, much like the one on the crank. Big mass isn't important. Big moment of inertia compared to the shaft it's balancing is.
