Having a front end issue where on a left turn the front shakes violently. Fells like the binding if you turn shapely on a dry payment when the 4x4 is engaged, but more violently. But, it does not happen all the time. Comes and goes. Also noted a slight vibration at highway speeds. No problem with a right turn. Thought it might be a problem with the 4 wheel drive. Maybe a drive shaft sticking in the engaged position. I tried to engage 4x4 and nothing. No indicator lights, nothing. Fuse good. Did my module fail? Is it possible 4x4 is engaged and l cannot disengage if the module failed?
I did have it towed (flatbed hauler) because my brake line ruptured. Driving home from the repair shop, the vibration happened on a hard left turn. On way back to the shop happened two more times. Shop inspected suspension and saw no problems. Test drove it doing figure 8's ect. Nothing. Happened again at 72 mph on a gradual left on I-90 which was very frightening.
Any ideas???
