I had a pleasant find. Opened a toolbox I brought home that was my dads. In it was a Ryobi cordless reciprocating saw. Same battery as my 1/2" impact wrench.

Although inheriting is a real sucky way to get tools, even if I know he'd be glad I have it.
That is the big strength of Ryobi, the batteries fit all generations of tools. And the vast number of tools available.

I found a box today of my dad's old Makita drill/driver set w/2 batterys under his old Craftsman table saw, the iron kind of table saw. The Makita don't look very pretty after all these years but that's to be expected I guess, and all I could wonder is where would I find the charger

I built a rack on one end to hold draw bars for towing. I didn't like having them on the floor stuffed under another work bench.
Oh come on now. You mean to tell me that you don't like having those toe breakers and shin busters scattered everywhere. Atleast when my shins and toes were bouncing off them I knew where they were at. With them at the end of the bench like that I'd never be able to find them.

^^Says the guy that recently, literally stumbled across the 8" drop hitch he's been looking for for months,

I saw mention of 14 x 1 LH for a suppressor mounting
What caliber uses that?

A cheap solid core door can make a pretty decent workbench top.
I'll admit to having used an old refridgerator door on saw horses before.

I actually prefer a good sheet of plywood on top a couple sawhorses :)

When I bought my last house and replaced the refrigerator, I took the doors off and left it in the yard for a while. Laid it on its side and I used it as a work bench. It had French doors, so the freezer/ refrigerator wall even acted as a shelf.

That exhaust hanger tool worked marvelously. I highly recommend it. It was so much easier removing the old exhaust system using that tool.

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

Good to know.. I always felt like I was gonna rip the vehicle off its jackstands while muscling the hanger post things out of the rubber bits.

Yep, that an a bit of silicone spray before hand and they pop right off.

Way better than the old way of yanking, pulling, and swearing.

I’ve taken to cleaning the rust off and greasing them before re-assembly just because of that

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

When I replaced the exhaust on the Ranger, the process was yanking, pulling, swearing, cutting, welding. I cut the "head" off and tacked a washer in its place when I put it back together. Rather than fight with the hangers on my F250 I made a new one out of straps. I'm definitely ordering one of these tools.
