@rumblecloud that might be one of the best Ranger tools you can buy.

I bought a Dorman nylon fuel fuel line repair kit.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
For the 11 years I've worked at my employer there's been a huge ass air compressor sitting in the corner of the shop buried in crap and missing the electric motor.

I asked what the deal was with it after a couple years and got the run around.. now we're moving AND have a new general manager.. asked again.. it's all mine 😎

Must be an 80 or 90 gallon tank.. needs a compressor head, plan on getting one from harbor freight and putting a gas motor on it. Hell yeah.

I bought the new Milwaukee M18 tire inflator. Should be here today. I am looking forward to testing it out, the little inflators I have all suck. They take 20 minutes to go from 20psi to 30psi. Supposedly this one is way faster.

hah I recently bought the makita version - it's worked really well so far for me

it does well on my 42s, but i'm only taking it from 0 psi to 5. been great for topping off everything else though. never knew how much I'd use something like it until I had it

6.35cfm@150psi.... wow, that's pretty impressive. I dont see how that one fairly small compressor head can do it. I'll be interested in your review. Do a timed 0psi to 150psi and with the tank size you can figure out the true cfm.
Still seems like a good deal tho.

The reviews are pretty good on it. It's been on my Amazon wish list for awhile. It keeps getting sold out. An email today showed the $66 discount and it was in stock... I jumped.

I'm curious how quick it will blow up an air mattress in the middle of the night. Although it may not be a problem with Lego boy not in camp.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I tried inflating my air mattress with my Viar compressor on the Ranger once. It was disappointingly slow even thought the compressor does pretty well with tires. It’s a “pressure vs. volume” thing. I use a little blower made for air mattresses that is much faster and more convenient. Plugs into a 12v outlet.

Got some stuff in from Jegs to put my engine together.

cam bearing puller, adjustable piston ring compressor, ridge reamer, and ring pliers.

At this point I have everything I need to rebuild it without outside help. We’ll see how it goes.

I haven't (unless you count a few tools for the motircycle). But I need to. My Bosch battery drill is almost dead. Batteries are great. But in drill mode, it acts and sounds like it's in screwdriver mode (torque limiting) set on about 3 or 4. I think the gears inside are almost smooth. I just barely accomplished all the drilling for my new spare tire mounting system.

Anyway, I want a Milwaukee M18 Fuel brushless drill-driver so all my batteries are interchangeable. It will probably happen soon after the Roundup. I could get the drill by itself. But I'd like to get a kit with charger and battery. A second charger would be good during big projects.

For compressors like that I go for both... I have the Bauer inflator/compressor combo, it has a high volume low pressure end and a high pressure low volume end that sets for pressure. It's great for air mattresses and floaties and works fine for topping off tires, Memorial day when I went sand camping with my F350 and truck camper with trailer with Ranger on it I had to take the Ranger off the trailer and drop the tires on the F350 to 15psi... that compressor took forever on one tire... I use the $65 Harbor Freight version of what Gump just ordered for the others until it got hot and melted the hose... turns out it's super easy to splice the hose... If I find one of those M18 compressors for a good price when I don't feel as broke I might get one though... would still use the Bauer for float tubes and such though, piston compressors are too slow for that stuff... I'd take a centrifugal over most shop compressors even, high pressure air is violent...

I have a few new to me tools (nothing new I don't think...), picked up a 30 gallon 3hp Campbell Housefeld 240V air compressor at a garage sale for $30... got all sorts of stuff at a swap meet a couple weeks before that

How fast does your go from 0 to 5? Just out of curiosity.

I gave it a workout last night - aired up a 35" tire from 0 to 30 in 5:55, then a 235/75-15 from 0 to 32 in 3:30. Then I topped off 8 other tires that were all about 10psi low (trailer and wife's truck.) Takes about 35 seconds each. I used an 8ah battery and still had two bars left out of four. Pretty impressed.

It did come with inflator tips too so I can air up basketballs or mattresses or whatever.

probably about as long as it takes your 35 to go from 0 to 30. It's slow, and a lot of air. But I'm able to do all 4 of them with it - tried it once just for shits and giggles to see if it was possible. I do also have an ARB dual compressor on board, which is better for airing up if I was ever in the situation to need it.

I had really considered a M18 inflator. I could never catch one on sale... and I didn't want to be at the mercy of an M18 battery when I really needed air.

It appears they sold out of the compressor I ordered... they now have a couple of returned ones for $160. I think it was a good deal at $119. It should pack into one of my RIDGID pro boxes with the rest of my tool kit and be ready when I need it.
