This will be my second B2, had a 90 i did some mods on and sold it (regrets!) I really liked that truck.
So I found a Solid 84 B2, only 40k on it. it's a clean truck but i can't do the color inside or out. I'm looking at upgrades, restore, change. I want to start with the interior.
Question I have is this:
for the Bronco II's what interior is compatable between years? will the 89/90 interior parts work with little modification in the the 84?
I'd like to cover the the metal interior sections with the trim from a 89/90 and pull some better bucket seats from a newer ranger. then have all the seats recoverd to match plus some extra cloth to match for ather parts. repaint the whole thing and then start the suspension work. Not in a big hurry, this is a project for me and my boys.

Any info would be great.

Thanks
Buck

The doors are roughly the same across all the years. The early ones don't have provisions for speakers, and may be missing some push-pin holes.

The 89/90 dash will bolt in pretty easily, which is commonly done on a 4.0 swap. Also, we generally recommend a 4.0 swap.

It will all swap if you do it as a whole set. The body shell never really changed, just the front end sheet metal.
