I have a ‘96 Straight cab A/T with bum V-6 and purchased a ‘99 Mountaineer 5.0 that was wrecked. Both 2X4 A/T.
From what I am finding, I may have bit off a tougher chew with the ‘99 conversion?
Looks like not only do I swap the engine and trans along with computer, wiring harness etc. but also the steering column?

I planned on changing the rear to have a couple extra leafs and rear sway bar as well as rear disc brake?

Will I run into a VSS and speedometer issue?

Thanks in advance for any help.
