Hello everyone. Well I have a 2003 ranger.
Well so far I replaced the whole A/C system
Water pump (pain in the butt to get out) thermostat housing, fan, fan clutch, the whole front end is new from rotors ,shocks, uppers and lowers (kit) not to bad. Shocks rear. Valve cover was leaking new seal, complete tune-up. Manual transmission/new hydraulic clutch, plate now I have a oil leak rear of motor towards the top of transmission. Any ideas? Hope not the rear main seal. I should have replaced it when I had the transmission out. Oh well. Now the one thing I did learn the valve cover bolts. Well let's say that was an adventure. 3 days infact. I ended up making them with the old bolts. If you want to know more about that get with me. Overall this has been a great little truck. I have 104,000 miles on it. No rust anywhere. Interior original.one little hole in the seat. Need a headliner. Exterior few little dings. Never been wrecked. But it does need a paint job. (Paint still looks great) so is there a way to change out the rear main seal without dropping the transmission? The great thing is I'm not a mechanic. Been watching YouTube on do it yourself. So any advice would be appreciated. Help would be even more appreciated. Anyway hello everyone.
