Wanted to take a quick second to introduce myself. My name is Brian and I just picked up a 2001 Mazda B3000 SE. She's a 5-speed, the body is pretty clean/straight, the interior is decent and she's got just under 109K miles. The seller told me the fuel pump went out this past December so I was unable to test drive it, but it did fire for a split second. Decided to roll the dice...
I've already confirmed voltage the fuel pump, so she was correct. Bed it now off and I'm hoping to source a used OEM pump so I can just hear it run before putting any real money into it.
Had a few Rangers in the past and really like them. I actually ran across the truck I drove in college over 20 years ago (the green one pictured) recently and would have loved to buy her back, but decided that I didn't have the time to give her the full restore like I would want to. So I grabbed this Mazda instead. Looking forward to participating on this forum and being back in a simple little truck.
